We started Bash AI in the summer of 2025 to make sure that never happens to a small business again.
Why I built it
I'm Javier, the founder of Bash AI. I spent years as a software engineer at Amazon and Apple before going all-in on AI — and I started Bash with one goal: make sure a small business never loses a customer to a missed call.
Local service businesses live and die by the phone. But you can't answer while you're under a sink, on a roof, or asleep — and voicemail doesn't win jobs. The next company on Google does.
A real receptionist costs thousands a month, and most answering services just read from a script, take a message, and lose you the customer anyway. I knew the technology had finally caught up to do something genuinely better: an AI that sounds human, knows your business, and actually does the work — books the job, texts the caller, and hands you a customer instead of a voicemail.
